Hmmm

Ok, today wasn't as fabulous as I had expected. It wasn't bad - it just wasn't good either. I was plainly boring. Wish there was more to report. On the bright side, tomorrow I have an excuse to work out while at work - big display change - lots of heaving lifting. Awesome.

AND - tomorrow is the DAY before the date... awesomer!

Day 3.5

Got home last night and didn't think to blog. I was in a good mood. A REALLY GOOD MOOD! Yesterday was a good day.

1. I allowed myself to sleep late
2. good breakfast (egg scramble with red and green peppers, and hash browns with onions)
3. 5 sets of angled push-ups
4. good lunch including cheese, apples, yogurt, and a tuna sandwich
5. Phone call with J, the girl I've been emailing back and forth. (She is funny and I have to admit, I like her voice) I HAVE A DATE ON SATURDAY!

Today, I again slept late and my lunch will probably be something similar to what I had yesterday. This afternoon, I had a turkey burger for breakfast. What? Start the day with protein. And I am finally noticing an improvement in my skin. I have been trying a new routine and product - so we'll see how that works out.

I work tonight - looking for a sale. Let's go, people!

Today will be a good day. I realized that giving up lattes altogether (which I finally did just last Saturday) has had little effect on me mentally. I'm not craving them at all. It's sort of like cigarettes. It was hard for me to quit until I finally made it a year and a half, gave in and had one, and realized that I didn't enjoy it - at all. So, I still want one from time to time, but I am able to remember, without any issue, that I won't like it as much as I think I will.

Day 2-ish

Today was - today. I worked all day - no, serious. 9:45 - 9:30 pm. TIRED! And of course, I slept late because, as someone was on the phone until 1:45 AM - I didn't fall asleep until after 2. Oh well. Because I slept late and was WAY groggy this morning, I didn't even THINK of firring in a quick workout before work until AFTER I'd arrived. Crap. BUT! I had packed a lunch. Of course, as I picked at it throughout the day, I realized just how much sugar I had packed. I was not really thinking last night when I prepared it.

Peanut butter and banana sandwich on whole wheat
Apple
Strawberries
Yogurt
cheese

WHAT? Holy! Tomorrow, I will forego the berries and opt for tuna instead of peanut butter... and no banana. That should be better. It'll last longer too. At one point, I couldn't take the sweet anymore and I was getting really hungry. As I am trying to save some cash right now, I headed to McDonald's. I got nuggets. I know. I know. But it is better than waiting and waiting and then eating WAY too much later.

I had a turkey burger for dinner. YUMMO! I am so addicted. They are just fabulous.

Tomorrow I work in the afternoon. So there will be time to prepare a better lunch, workout, stretch... sweet!
